Nationwide field staffing for cable providers

The need

Major cable providers serve entire apartment buildings and student housing communities, where one network connects every resident. When something goes wrong on site, they need a qualified technician there quickly, in whichever market it happens.

What AbblePC did

Provided nationwide staffing and support to Comcast and Cox so their customers were taken care of. Technicians handled on-site service calls, much of it replacing wireless access points and resolving connectivity issues at bulk-served properties.

Why it worked

Because AbblePC knows the work, technicians were matched to what each job actually required, and calls were closed out correctly the first time.

Site surveys and network buildouts

The need

A company taking on a new property needs to know what it will take to get the building connected before any work begins.

What AbblePC did

Jeff Beck surveyed the site and worked out the cabling, network equipment and every other part of setting up the property, then helped coordinate the work so it was completed in a timely manner.

Why it worked

One person owned the plan from walkthrough to completion, so nothing fell between the cracks between design and install.

In apartment communities and student housing, residents expect internet that just works. An access point failure or outage turns into a wave of complaints fast.

Technicians diagnosed connectivity issues on site, replaced failed access points and equipment, and verified service was restored across the affected units.
